Targeted Testing and Nutrition for GI Health and Autoimmune Disorders

Many of our modern chronic health problems are related to inflammation caused by a malfunctioning GI tract (Leaky Gut Syndrome). Using functional and integrative nutrition tools can help uncover the cause of leaky gut and other underlying problems keeping you from allover physical and emotional health.

Health problems related to Leaky Gut Syndrome:

  • IBS/Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Autoimmune Disorders
  • Eczema/Rosacea/Psoriasis/Flushing
  • Depression/Anxiety
  • Weight Imbalances
  • Fibromyalgia/Arthritis
  • Migraine & other headaches
  • Unexplained fatigue or brain fog
  • ADHD/Austism

All of these conditions can be lessened or eliminated by identifying food sensitivities and changing your food choices. In as little as two weeks, you can see your symptoms slip away and vitality return.

All of this can be done through a simple blood test that identifies your sensitivities, and follow-up nutritional counseling to help you establish a workable meal plan. .

Follow-up nutrition counseling will help you to:

  • Translate your test results into a workable meal plan of tested foods, and later introduce non-tested foods into your meal plan.
  • Identify personal care products like toothpaste and over-the-counter medicines that have food additives that can cause a reaction
  • Discover underlying problems such as Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), parasites, Celiac Disease or gluten spectrum disorder, micronutrient deficiencies and adrenal fatigue that may be keeping you from full recovery.

Fees/Costs:

  • Free initial consultation
  • The blood test of 150 foods and food chemicals is $295.
  • Nutritional counseling, menu assistance and between sessions phone calls to answer any questions is a package fee of $440 for 5 hours of follow-up counseling payable by check or credit card.

Testimonial

“Thank you, Peggy Shannon, for guiding me through the Food Sensitivities testing and elimination of highly sensitive foods from my diet. I would never have guessed that oranges, sweet potatoes, and onions would be amongst the foods that I had high reactivity to! Your gentle guidance and support in this process has already resulted in my symptoms reducing from a score of 81 to 37 — I feel so much better!"

"Now, the long process begins of introducing foods, one by one, to find those that my body can tolerate as well as fit in with the Paleo guidelines for autoimmune diseases. Losing weight is just a side benefit. I am convinced that I will be able to substantially improve or eliminate Hashitmoto's Autoimmune Disease by this focus on healing 'The Gut'.”

Carol Cannon — 3 weeks after starting the elimination diet and whose symptom survey score lowered to 14 after 5 weeks.
